Shanghai Stationary 'Moonshine Over Kanton' (anthracite, shimmering)

Kanton is located on the Pearl River and has a history of more than 2000 years in world trade as it marks one end of the silk road. Still there is an annual World Trade Fair.

Between 17th and mid 19th century it was the only port to establish foreign commercial activities through Chinese agents with the world outside China, where tea and silk were traded. Kanton is also known for its role in the Opium War.

Today Kanton, or Guangzhou, its modern name, is a nearly 20 million people telling megacity in the Pearlriver Delta, which has the one of the most busy airport in the world. Skyscrapers like the Canton tower and impressive architectural structures characterise the cityscape, which stands out against the dark sky at night with its colourful lighting.
